he same care was used for the Majestic Imperator. Gottfried Rieck
put great emphasis on the quality of materials and the highest
technical standards. He was lucky insofar as there were some
technicians working on his project who had some experience in this kind
of interior design and who enthusiastically contributed their know-how and
knowledge to the service of the new imperial train. In addition, Rieck found
and bought original items from the imperial era at auctions and at antique
shops to maintain the authenticity of the furnishings. Some of the objects
are veritable museum pieces and yet part of the living present.
